Video presentation is a narrative that reveals the struggle and connectivity of a nation to survive. The survival of a nation requires those to make a conscience and collective decision not to miss a note in the harmony as the next generation comes forth. In this scenario, the missing notes are the missing black keys- the millions of black babies lives killed by abortion. Their absence has changed the harmony and stopped the music from playing forever for generations.
In 1619, just twelve short years after the English arrived in America they force-ably brought blacks as slaves to its shores. As a nation of people, the journey to freedom for blacks in America has been filled with painful and deadly struggles. Miraculously, by the mercy of God, blacks persevered and triumphed over the monstrosities and the brutalities of slavery, and the nation survived. It was the nation’s ancestors who endured much despair in order for the nation to survive. Having the hope that the giving of their lives would ensure that the next generation would live in freedom. Today, it is the responsibility of all blacks to pay forward the gift of life that was so painfully given to us. Each one must personally take up the mantle of responsibility to be the giver and protector of the lives of generations to come.
